Nanny's Pavillon

Friday night out with the girls.. Oh when half of them was at the campus waiting for their turn for phytochemistry lab exam. It sucks. Structure elucidation? What the hell is that? Haha. I salute people who really understand to read that damn spectrum. Especially the NMR spectrum.

Actually I went out in the evening to Ciwalk for late lunch/early dinner at Es Teler 77. It was quite late and I really had stomach ache after finish eating. I went out alone since everyone is busy and they have their own plan. Plus, I wanted to buy few things from the store. Some hair product. Last time I went to the salon, the lady complained that my hair is too dry. ay ay.. I bought new shampoo + hair recovery oil + hair mask. So hair, please wet yourself okay??

I didn't have plan to join the girls btw. I thought I just want to spend my time alone in my room, watching stupid movies or drama series for God knows how many time I repeat those movies. Haha. But when they say the might watch movie or karaoke after having dinner, I'm eheemmm had second thought. Other than watching old boring movies, its better to watch new ones. Other than staying alone at home, its better to join them for karaoke right. OH I really wanna be a singer someday. Haha.. Hell NO! I'm kiddin'

So I told them I wait for them somewhere. If I'm late, then I just meet them at Nanny's. But then, I'm early and they changed they place twice. It's either Riau or Setiabudhi. Setiabudhi is just few minutes away from Ciwalk. Riau errr quite far.. So they chose Setiabudhi.. sudah dekat. hehe. So I met them somewhere in Setiabudhi cause idk where the place is.

The concept of Nanny's Pavillon at Setiabudhi is Library. As if we're eating in the library, but still, the shop is cute as always. And they're opening a new one at Jakarta Selatan and they're using the Bathroom concept. From the picture, there is no toilet bowl. So no worries. hehe.

Everyone was hungry but me. Farha and Yasmin wanted to have pancake. Dayah, Liyana and I had pasta. Actually I don't know what to eat. I didn't feel like having waffle or pancake. So, I made a deal with Dayah. We ordered different pasta and later we exchange ours so we can have both. hehe.

I think this is cookies and cream pancake. idk. Yasmin ordered this one.

Something something. but they have peanut butter in that wrap. Farha's.

Later at night, we went to watch Unstoppable.. OMFG! Chris Pine is damn hot!!! Go watch it people! Nice movie too.

Hindi Movies

Lately I've been watching Hindi movies. Not that I never watch it before. But I think It's just a season. One season of me watching hindi movie and the rest I don't.

This time it's because I watch this one movie, I Hate Luv Storys. Some of my friend said that this movie is quite bored. they fell asleep while watching it. But for me, I enjoy it. I like the story line, and not to forget the actor, IMRAN KHAN. He such a heartthrob right? Too hot!

I told my friends, maybe this movie is bored. I don't know. Maybe this guy made me watch this movie. Seriously, After watching this movie, I continue watching Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He's too hot... He's too cute... Arrrggghhhhh. I like him! I told my friend if I get him, I will handcuff him so he won't go away.. Okay. Now me is being crazy.

Actually, the movie, I Hate Luv Storys is about how a guy fall for a girl. The guy, J don't believe in love, the magic of it. When he heard about love, he thinks it's all crap, he might fall asleep. He doesn't watch love storys or listen to love songs and he even been playing around with girls. The girl in this movie is Simran, which she is totally opposite. She loves everything about love. She's engaged to this one guy, Raj, which is Mr. Perfect.

One day, J met Simran at the movie theater, which Veer, his boss asked him to watch a love story. The first time he looked at her, he's fall for her. Turned out the sit next to each other. In the movie, J really can't stop talking and made Simran mad. Next day, J went to the office and he found out that Simran is working in the same office and she is his senior. Since that day, Simran always bully him, asked him to do much work and J, he just can't stop teasing Simran.

One day, Simran really mad and she scolded J. After that, J knew that something went wrong between Simran and Raj. After working, J went to a bar for beers with his best friend and he met Simran there. By being perfect with Raj, She don't drink during weekdays. When J saw her, he quickly want to get out of the bar and he accidently met Simran. Simran say forgiveness for being mad at J and somehow J said something that made Simran realized that J is not as bad as she thinks he is.

Next day at work, they started become friends... bla bla bla... Simran fall for J and she thought that J would fall for her. J still a player and he knew that Simran is engaged. He thought they were just friend. Meanwhile, the relationship between Simran and Raj is on the rock.

Because of J said he doesn't have feelings toward Simran, Simran chose to stay with her fiance. One day, J called Simran to talk, he thought he was talking to Simran but actually the mother pick up the call. The mother knew everyhting. The day Simran left for NZ, J realized that he has feeling for Simran. He went to NZ later just to win Simran back but turned out Raj was there. Even he proposed to Simran, she couldn't accept it.

When they're back in India, Raj is about to propose to Simran. J and his friends plan something to make Simran jealous and made her realize that all she wants is J. It really bother her when J started goint out with other girl, Giselle, which she act as his new gf. One day when Simran and Raj was having dinner, suddenly she just can't stand anymore and confessed to Raj about whoever she is and she left him.

She went to look for J at the cinema. That time J was at the airport going to US to meet his mother. Then, bla bla bla. J tak jadi pegi. He went to cinema to find Simran and you what happen next kan? simply.

It's just a typical love story but I like it. I really enjoy the movie, the actor, the language. Oh I think Hindi is the second romantic language after French. Shut up if you don't agree with me.

The actor, you tell me about it. Imran Khan? Zayed Khan? Shah Rukh Khan? ehhh... Who else? Aamir.. They're too hot right? You just can't stop watching..

Sometimes I play with google translator to translate some english sentences into hindi. I just love it. The letter... errrgghhh. I cant help it. It's too complicated. So ignored! Anyone of you wants to teach me?

So I guess I'll be collecting more hindi movies from the girls for couple of days until I get bored. Then I'll trash it when the season ends.

Or did I watch all these movies because hmmmm Some-of-you-knows-why? IDK!

What A Raya Celebration

I celebrated Eid Adha this year in Bandung. This is the third of five time celebrating here. I didn't cook anything and it was a big big mistake. Well, I didn't even wake up early. I just didn't feel it.

The morning, I woke up I was very hungry and I feel so sad, cause I miss home, I miss my family, I miss all the good foodies at home. Mom cooked soto, which is one of my favorite. How sad is that, you just can't have it. All I had for breakfast was family cracker and hot milo with some friends.

Since they're having makan2 at night, so I helped them to do some work. Chilies, onions, carrots bla bla bla. *kerja dapur* LOL! and in the afternoon, I have this one lovely friend, A, let me come to her house for lunch. She and her friends cooked nasi impit + chicken soup. It was delicious. Thank you very much :)

Back at home, the ladies just done with the cooking. So makan again. They cooked bihun sup, fried rice, mashed potato with the gravy, coleslaw, and some desserts. Did I miss anything here? hmm.. I don't remember.

The makan2 actually started at 4 and they had BBQ too. Chicken, fish, squid and shrimp. Makan whole day and I was very full.

We were when we still in nice dry clothes.

I didn't join them cause I've just raised the Japan's flag earlier. Hmm.. if you know what I mean.

Sushi Boon

Since I have nothing interesting to share with you, so I've decided to write about foodies. HaHa. Seriously, life is DULL. Me no likey. But what to do. This is my stupid life. I have to live with it.

FYI, Bandung always been raining, like every single day. So its very humid here and cold. Some people go out wearing jacket and some I don't know crazy? not really lah, they wear thick jacket or bubble jacket. Oh I wish I can have that bubble jacket from Promod. LOL. You can't never expect when is the sunny day. Sometimes its very cloudy and dark outside, turned out not raining at all. But when it is sunny, you gonna be a fried shrimp!

Eh now I've been writing about weather. Ahaaa.. So there's one rainy evening, I usually sleep during raining cause.. uhhuhh you know why. I received a text message from a friend, A. She asked me whether I wanna go out for dinner or not and she was as hungry as a bear since she didn't had anything since morning. So, I said OK cause I need to eat something for dinner too. The choises was Penang House or Sushi Boon. So I decided Sushi Boon since I never tried the sushi there, plus I love sushi.

I met her there after she finished her class at 5. We ordered 4 sushi, Dragonballz, bla bla bla, bla bla bla and Tuna sandwich. Sorry for the bla bla bla cause I don't remember what was that. hehehe..

So this is the Dragonballz. It wrapped with grilled salmon and inside the roll, they have the egg and mayonnaise I think. It is nais but I think the salmon is not so fresh but It don't taste ugly either.

This roll contained crab stick, or chicken, egg, mayonnaise. But I like it.

After we finished eating, we went to BIP for window shopping. A wanted to have waffle, so we went to Texas Chicken. I just had chocolate sundae cause I was full. I had heavy lunch btw. That's why I didn't eat much :)

Miss steamboat peeps? Hehe.. Don't give 'Bandung don't have any steamboat' as a reason for you to hate Bandung. Ok. Ignore!

There are 2 places I know that have steamboat.

One is in PVJ, which I had post before. Suki Zuki or Zuki Suki. The best thing at this place is they have raw food bar. It something like sushi bar, the one with sushi travel on belt. They also serve with 2 soups chicken soup or tomyum or you can have both. The price is quite *cough* expensive *cough* but if you have BNI credit card or debit card, you can get 50% discounts. Well, the promotion is until March. So you better get your ass there before the promotion is over.

The other place is in Hanamasa and it is buffet. The price now is Rp100k pax and the price is increasing each year. hehehe. So if you want to go here, you better bring an empty stomach cause you gonna fill it with lots of food that worth 100k. Last time I went there, they only have miso soup. So if you want something spicy, you better put some chili sauce in the soup. Hehe. They also have hot plate for you to cook your food or you can just ask them to cook for you.

So.. let's steamboat... Err.. next month.

Have you heard about the Merapi mount has been erupted?

How bad it is?

The ashes has come to Bandung. So, it is damn bad. Now no flights in and out of Indo. Well, from "I wanna go home". Now I can say "I can't go home". Usually if anything happened, we blame the airlines company or the government, oh now we can't blame anyone.

So now here we are, stuck in Indonesia. For how long? God knows.

Have you watch any news about Jogja. It is now covered with white ashes. Candi Borobudur is now in white! From far, they look like covered with snow. HoHoHo, Merry Christmas. Well, it is not.

The ashes is not the same as the ashes from garbage burned. It is very dangerous. It looks like Silica or glass with sharp edges. The size is very small which is less than 2mm. It can lead to breathing problems and malfunction of machinery.

Since mommy don't let me out too much, I've been staying home for two days. Eating and cooking. Fatso! However, it is better other than expose myself too much to the environment. heh..
