new white flowery wedgie

I wanted to write last night but my internet connection just killed my mood. So I bet I'm kinda run of idea. Btw, i always wonder why my internet connection at my place is very very sucks. Guess what? It is damn slow and we cant even use torrent to download things. POOR me! The guy from the internet company said if everyone at my place is using it, sure the internet will be a lil bit slow. Oye! now noone here laaa... How could you be so slow?

Okay, leave the internet story behind..

Last Friday, I went to Paris Van Java, PVJ after all this crazy exam I had. phheeewwww... Hopefully I can pass the exam *pray hard* I wanted to buy this one gladiator wedges from Rotelli. It comes in brown color and it has 50% less. I saw this wedges when I went there with Mommy. I've been admiring it but I'm too afraid to ask it from her.. At the end, I've decided to ask some money from her.

I went with a friend, Zaza. Do you know few of the shops having mid year sale? Everyone loves it right.. me lovey lovey it too. We went jalan-jalan first to check nice things to buy. Then we came across La Senza. La Senza always have 70% less for the lingerie and I always can't resist of these. hehe..

After that, I went to Rotelli. The brown wedges still there. I was so excited. I asked the salesgirl for a new pair. Then she said it was the last pair, the one on display. So i just asked for it. When the wedges arrived, it soooo sad cause the one on display already change to a lil darker brown. If i bought that wedges, it would be very weird. One pair is light brown and the other is darker. *sad and wanted to cry* Since mommy have gave me the money, might as well just buy another wedges. So I got myself this white flowery wedges.

Sorry about the ugly background. hee
By the way, we had our dinner at Zuki Suki or Suki Zuki. It is a steamboat restaurant. The one like Johnny's in Malaysia. They served us with two types of soup; chicken soup and tomyum Soup. Actually they had raw material bar, its like sushi bar actually. But the time we went there is a lil bit early. So the bar hadn't started yet. The tomyum soup tasted so nice but it was quite Spicy that you could cry. hehehe...

After we had our dinner, we went to Carrefour because Zaza had to do some grocery shopping. Before we go home, we got ourselves a frozen yogurt from Tutti Frutti. I love it. Very fruity :)

Yogurt: Must be coconut + Bubble gum + Blue berrilicious
Yogurt: Tutti Fruitti + Mango + Cool Choco
p.s: Thanks Zaza. you made my day :)
and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AUGUST BABIES!

My perfect 24th birthday

It started with July 26th... Daddy called me in the morning. I was "oh, daddy's wake up call"

Dad: dah bangun?
me: baru je *yawn* (tak tipu la kan)
Dad: mama ada kirim barang utk Atan. Kawan die datang Bandung. nanti pergi amik ye
me: siapa kawan die? nak pergi amik kat mana?
Dad: kawan cbn. die kan skrg fb2. Hotel Holiday Inn.
me: ok!

me texted mama : hi ma. good morning. pagi td papa call. suro kakak g Holiday Inn jumpa kwn mama?
Mom replied as usual. yes. mama bg some food... my friend is Wan Dura.. bla bla bla...
I was thinking.. Mom won't ask people to bring things for me unless it is emergency.

In the evening, I told mama I'm otw to the hotel. I might be late coz it was heavy traffic. it took me almost 1 hour to reach hotel. So I texted ma. She said her friend will meet me at the lobby so I just have to wait.. when the elevator door opened.

There you go... my two angels... I run to them and hugged them... *cried*
However, it was wonderful that they came to Bandung only for my birthday. I got the chance to celebrate my birthday with my favourite girls and my lovely friends. We had dinner at Kartika Sari. The weekend is over! :(

Blame Travel and Living for ruining my so-wanted-to-be-on-diet! ok this is just alasan... haha! Few weeks ago i watched that channel and they were showing the biggest burger in New York. If it is not the biggest then it is one of the biggest I supposed. Since then I drool all the time when I think of burger. So I woke up on Saturday decided to make my own BEEF BURGER!

I dressed up and went to Superindo to buy the ingredients. I went with Yati since she was sleeping over at my place.

When I reached home, I prepared all the ingredients for the burger. The vege, the coleslaw, and marinated the beef. Drools.. Drools.. but I'm full since I had my lunch at Singgalang. Oh btw, Singgalang is not as nice as before. Toink..

*I'm sorry about the fugly pan*
Since I promised Zafirah, I invited her over to my place to enjoy my burger. The burger was damn rich! Thicker than the big mac. I had to pressed the burger so it can fit in my mouth. I think my burger was delicious. But I don't know. Maybe you guys don't like it. I don't care.
We had burger while watching Disturbia, an old movie. But everyone is so quiet eating their burger until one of us say "kenyang gila makan burger ni" Then we talk, talk, talk... hmmm. Girls just can't stop to talk kan?

Then we off to McD. I had McFlurry Warna Warni. Actually, it is Smarties la. There was an Arabic family in McD. Cute guys and pretty ladies. Then we imagine ourselves married to an Arabic man. *laugh, laugh, cough, touchwood!* Imagine someday Zafirah or I wearing black robe with hijab? Ok. Don't imagine that. Just not yet.

We bought a DVD on the way home, The Last Song. Just a sweet romantic movie. But Miley Cyrus is damn pretty! and Liam is Hot! Oh I bet Zafirah will put Miley Cyrus as her daughter's name. hehehe. Then, we had murtabak telor. Ok, Girls sleepover means can't stop talking + eating like pigs + movies.

I fell asleep quite early, while the our third movie of the day, Juno. Then everyone went to bed too.

And again, I'm the one who up early. Since I have foods in the fridge, I made them breakfast. I cooked fried vermicelli. When they all up, we had breakfast and Zafirah went home.

I really enjoy my weekend. Thanks a lot GF! But tomorrow is Monday. I'm super excited to meet Monday but I still hate it a little. Who knows if my Monday is going to be the best Monday ever kan? hehehe... *heart*

p.s: thanks to Zafirah for the lovely pics

Things I Love About Bandung

I've decided to write on this because I think there are lot of good things here. I just realized that sometimes I do call Bandung as home. My second home perhaps.

When I was back in Malaysia for long holiday, at the end of the holiday I always looking forward to come home (Bandung). And it is just the same as I am in Bandung, I always looking forward to come back to Malaysia. So, basically Bandung is my second home and I'm comfortable to stay here for a period of time.

1. The weather...
Bandung is located at 768m above the sea level, so it is higher than most of the place in Indonesia. Bandung is much cooler than Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta which the temperature is 23 through out the year. OK I think it's a lie. Bandung only have 2 seasons, which is HOT and RAINY seasons. hehe.. During the rainy season, you really need those cardigans or at least a thin jacket when you go out. Oh well, if you can stand cold weather, you can just wear normal clothes. The hot season is when there no rain for weeks, this time you gonna be grilled. You gonna start complaining when is it going to rain.. And the Song California Gurls by Katy Perry will singing in your mind. Daisy dukes needed! Somehow, I really appreciate the weather when I'm back in Malaysia.

2. The malls and factory outlets
Have you ever visited Bandung before? Most of you have right. You tell me how am I suppose to say I don't like Bandung. Rumah Mode? FO along Jl. Dago? FO along Jl. Riau? They're selling either rejected clothes or the imitation one. All you need is to find the good quality clothes at very reasonable price. Pasar Baru? The place where to find the textiles, kebaya, tudung, and telekung. Malls? Paris Van Java for fine dine, Ciwalk mall for movie, BIP and Riau Junction for groceries, and BSM for loafing around especially when my favourite girls in town.

3. The foods
View my foodies album in facebook and you'll know how I love the foods. This is the link to my album

4. The transportation
Angkkot or Angkutan kota. It is always available at any time. but not along Tubagus area. The Angkot service in Tubagus is available until 9pm. If you're going out late at night, Taxi or Ojeg is the answer.

I just forgot what to write.. To be continued.

Small good bye dinner

This dinner is for some of them whom leaving Bandung today and next couple of days. FOR GOOD! Yet some of us left in here with crazy project which we don't even know when it is going to end. As crazy as the Brazil team lost during the World Cup. OK. takde kaitan! hahaha..

After 4 years we've been together thru ups and downs, there are lot of good memories to be remembered and to be told someday. Heart you people!

floral dress and hot pants

Last night I went to Ciwalk with Yati to buy some groceries. Since it's been more than a month I haven't do the shopping, everything is finished or at least it almost finish. But somehow I didn't buy much cause we decided to watch movie. Yea, I really hate to carry those heavy plastic bags into the cinema.

When we first arrived at Ciwalk, we're heading straight to the cinema. we planned to the earlier movie so we could go home early.. But at the counter...

Lady : mau nonton film apa?

Yati : Inception

Lady : Jam 9 ya ada nya

We : OK

Ok, the 7-ish and 8-ish were full. and FYI, there are 3 theaters showing Inception. can you imagine??? ALL FULL! We bought the tickets and off for dinner.

We were really hungry. So we decided to have something heavy to treat our big tummy. We chose the Platinum. Each time I went to Platinum, it will reminisce the good-old-first-year memories which my friends and I went to Platinum almost every week. What I can say is that when we were first year, things were quite cheap. We always have extra money by the end of the month. But now if we do things that we did in first year, I can guarantee that we gonna end up broke. I had no idea what to have, and Nasi Ayam Hainan looks delicious in the picture. Yati had the steamboat set.

When we were waiting for the movie, I realized that most of the girls wearing floral dress and hot pants. Heeeee.... Soo SUMMER! I can tell that Bandung is raining everyday and it is so cold at night and sometimes during the day. However, I did wear my floral dress. so I'm not left out right? hehehe.

Then I meet the Indian clan (without Shaliny) in the theater. Shaliny went home yesterday I guess. The movie was good but I was quite sleepy. Ok, its not the movie, it is me. I'm quite tired and sleepy. Its about the 3 layers of dream how they want to change someone's mine about something. Worth to watch at the cinema. hehehe...

p.s: if your momma ask you where do your money goes? you should tell her to blame on the fats that you have. :)

A new Hello to Peeps...

My brain just cramped every time I decide to
write...

what's best for today?

MANGO PUDDING...
I've been craving for this pudding for quite sometime. I googled the recipe almost everyday.
But I don't know where to find it in Bandung.
So I've decided to make it.
I went out to Simpang Dago to buy the ingredients since I had nothing at home.
I stop for awhile at Pagi Sore for a late lunch. I like the nasi padang there but unfortunately forgot to bring the camera to snap some delicious picture
*my bad* and I forgot that I have a camera phone too.. So no picture for you and me. heh!

So here is the picture of the pudding.

It tastes sweet, milky, mango-ish but unfortunately the pudding is not hard enough.
Since it was my first try, you can't expect to get a perfect one right? *gelak malu*
ok la.. next time I'll try my best for a perfect one! hehehe..
