Raya Dinner 2010

I know I've missed the train but seriously I'm too busy as I told you in previous post. I have to prepare the book for my final project and I have to study. Now I'm done with the book and left me with stacks of papers to read. SIGH! Sidang will be on Friday, Sept 1st. Please.. I need luck! I really wanna wish upon the shooting star or airplanes? hehe

Last Friday, the junior had organized the raya dinner for the ITB student. OH! of course not for free. But then I think it was worth the price.

The dinner was at Grand Aquilla Hotel in Pasteur. Actually the hotel is quite far from our place. We went there by taxi. Haha. Who would want to go to hotel wearing nice dresses by angkot right? Unless your taxi didn't show up. And God knows how long we were in taxi to reach the hotel. It was friday night. The traffic heading to Pasteur Toll was quite heavy. People were moving their arses to Jakarta for the weekend I guess. hehe.

They prepared games for us? eeerrr... games? No no. Actually it's kinda award. They had Most Photogenic, Most Fun Table, and lucky draw and pingpong ball hunt. As usual, I wasn't lucky at all. and same with my friends. Only Hafis got the hamper for lucky draw. At least we had someone from our batch ayte? hehe. The Most Photogenic award won by Hilwa (3rd year student) and The Most Fun Table won by 3rd year student also.

Guess what my friends and I were doing during the dinner? Eat + Eat + Eat and EAT! That explain why we couldn't find any ball or being fun during the dinner. Oh! We had to sing a raya song. So we sung Selamat Hari Raya - Saloma. Easy song and everyone knows. hehe.

Btw, the food was nice. Delicious. They served fruit salad, white rice, fried kuetiaw, squid, roated chicken, black pepper chicken, broccoli, otak-otak, chicken soup with white fungi, and desserts.

Me TIme

Life is so crazy with tons of work to do. Completing the book for final project and study for sidang. I don't even know if I can manage to do all of it in a short time. I'm very tired right now. Sigh! Can I pay anyone to do the book for me? please please...

Tonight is supposed to be my study night. But I was too sleepy and too bored to read. So, I decided to enjoy myself in front of the dressing table with some make up and dresses and camera.

heee... Girls always be girls. Cant stop themselves from camwhoring and obsessing to get pretty. Shhhhhuuuusshhhhh! Don't say you're not, cause unconsciously you are one!

However, now I'm getting very sleepy. Sleepier that before. I guess me time was only to delay my sleeping hour. shessh! I should've sleep earlier so I can wake up early to study.

Pasta

I've been craving for pasta for days. I wanted to ask mommy to cook for me when I was at home. But I knew she was very tired to entertain people and cook for them. So I just keep my mouth shut. heeee..

But the last few days, I really lack of moolah. I had too much works to do, coreection for my seminar draft, preparing the slide for the seminar. God knows, I don't even have time to go to money changer. Only if the money changer opens at night and give me the good rate. Hehe. I think GMC should open until night. The tourists might have lack of moolah at night. LOL!

Today I decided to cook. I wanted to eat somewhere but I was alone. I really wish Lelet or mommy or papa or Ujang or Dong or my big family are here. So I can bug their life by forcing them to follow me. I miss homie :(

Oh btw, I had squids and mussels in the freezer. All I need was the pasta and the sauce and the capsicum. I went to Superindo to do some shopping.

So this is my lunch. Macaroni cheese and herbs with seafood. I bought the cheese and herbs sauce from Prego. I'm very lazy to make the sauce my own. Heeee...

I hate Oregano on my pasta. I don't feel good telling you why. But I hate it.

But now, what's for dinner? I miss ayam bakar Mas Pras. The shop still close. Lamanya raya!

Raya holiday..

Hello peeps! Happy eid mubarak!

I know I'm waaayyy too late to wish you all but I was too busy. I'm very sorry.

My raya holiday was very wonderful with family. I mean the BIG family. It's been years since the last time we celebrated raya together. House full of Aunties, Uncles and Crazy cousins. All I can say is I was happy and excited!

Raya is not all about celebrating after a month of fasting and asking forgiveness from others. Raya is about good foods, family and bonding we have with each other. Raya is the day when we can meet family, relatives which we haven't meet for ages.

I'm happy that when I met my cousins I never felt awkward. We can joke around, gossips and teasing each other. And we even had rounds of eating together. Such a big tummy everyone had. Maybe the fb is doing it's job and made us connected even how far we are.

I wish my grandparents were there. I wish they knew how happy we were when we're all together.

Seriously... You just ruin our raya! We've been waiting for it for weeks. You, Arse, simply take it from us. I tell you what. When I keep quiet, it doesn't mean I don't bother what you did. do you want me to tell on you? seriously.. if I tell my dad what you did, you just going down the drain in a second. I really meant what I said. I give you one more chance. Just one tiny chance. So get a life!

Berbuka Dinner With Lovely Family

Today is Mom's birthday. So.. We decided to go out for berbuka dinner, She chose Holiday villa since they offered 50% discount. Cheap right?

Unfortunately.. There were lots of people there. More than 2000 people as the waiter said. Sigh! The food was OK but not as nice as what we expected. They usually serve good foods for berbuka.

However, the dinner was lovely. I had my family with me after weeks of breakfasting alone. We really enjoyed ourselves. Good jokes, stories, teasing each other and laughters.

I'm home darling!

My flight was at 610 in the morning. But none of the friends is going back with me. I mean my classmate. Few of the ITB Students were there. I went to the Airport with Nad. Then I met some of the junior.

I was so bored in the plane. I'm sitting next to stranger. She was sleeping all the way from BDo to KUL. oh luckily she didn't break her neck. haha. Kesian.
