Haddock

Do you know what Haddock is?
It's a fish.

No. I'm not going to talk about the fish cause I don't really know the fish. I've tasted it but I like salmon more.

Okay. I have a best friend which I named him Haddock.

Why Haddock? it's because I've been obsessing about salmon and he can't stop saying that haddock is tastier than salmon.

Haddock vs Salmon

So we named ourselves Salmon and Haddock.

I've known haddock for quite long time already. Almost 8 years. But we've lost contact for 2 years because haddock been swimming too far away from the habitat and been drown until one day he came back to the right path. HAHAHAHA.

Since then, we've become good friend. A friend who always be there through my thick and thin. You can't see haddock swimming around me but he always there. He always there when I need big ears, when I need a shoulder to cry on, when I feel alone, when.. when.. when...

Haddock is a type of fish that I can pour all my secrets to with him judging if I'm the crab or the squid. Haddock is also my counselor (he said he can be one  :P) a part of my treatment when I'm too depressed.

He best thing about haddock is he always positive in everything. Even if I say something bad, he still be positive.

When I'm down, I always remember that God has sent to me a wonderful fish that I know I can't release it back to the sea. Without haddock, there will be no delicious seafood. LOL.

Dear haddock,
Thank you for being a delicious fish for the dinner. I hope you'll like salmon for your dinner too. You don't have to worry about anything cause we have each other to eat ourselves. Maybe some salt and pepper will make us more tastier. It's been 8 years having you and I never feel full. I hope every bite of you won't leave me a fleshless bone. Thank you.

Yours truly,
Salmon

This is my haddock and he thought he's a superman. I think he forgot his blue underwear.

Food #2

Lobster anyone?!
Food #2 is

Live Lobster Thermidor
Served with corn, baked potato and broccoli
*my 700g lobster*

You can try this at
House of Fine Steak, Victoria Station

Price : RM 169.15
Price is not fixed. Depending on the size.

This is one of my fav dish at VS. The lobster is imported from the US. Even when you first order, they even bring the live lobster to you for you to see the size and agree with the price.

You can even ask for half thermidor and half garlic or whatever they suggest you. But I prefer this one more. The cream sauce is yummy!

Tarbush

Do you where to eat at 10pm in Sunway Pyramid? One restaurant I knew that still open at that hour is Tarbush, when all the shops are closed. Ignore the bars and cafes outside.

As usual, my partner in crime was my dear Lelet. She went home so late that we had to go out late. We arrived at SP almost 10pm.

Since Lelet agreed to watch movie together, we went straight to TGV to purchase the ticket. We wanted to watch Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa but the movie was available at 1240am. We had to forgot about the movie and chose the other movie, Unknown.

So we went jalan2 to find any open restaurant. None of the restaurant were open, so we headed to Tarbush.

Guess what? People still coming in at 11pm. Most of the were hanging out with friends and had shisha.

Lelet wasn't hungry cause she had KFC before she came home, so I was the one to have dinner. We decided to share our foods.

My partner in crime. Hehe
We ordered cheese samosa for appertizer, baked macaroni with bechamel sauce for main course and cream caramel for the dessert.

Fooling around while waiting for the foods. If you noticed, it is Lelet's thumb. hahaha.

The baked macaroni was goooooood. Plus it was served with miced lamb. Yummmmmeyh! But when I told my mom it was good, she was like" it's ok if you don't offer me some. I don't mind". Haha. Yeah, can't take lamb.

Baked macaroni with bechamel sauce.
Cream caramel.
Oh, I forget to snap a pic of the samosa. Sigh!
We stayed at the restaurant until our movie was about to start.

Liam Neeson as Dr Harris
Btw, Unknown was a good movie. It was about a guy confused with his identity after we woke up from coma. He thought his name is Martin harris but actually he is someone else. he's an assassin. Hence, he used that name to cover up.

When his name, Dr Harris first came up, he reminds me of MrH. Cause they had the same name with the same title. LOL! I told MrH, I should make the comparison between him and Dr Martin Harris, which I'm gonna do next.. or next next.. or whenever I feel like doing. hehehehe. Hope I don't forget his character.

I can't wait for Lelet to come home this weekend. Maybe we can watch Hiyakat Merong Mahawangsa together.

A Date at Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe

I had a lovely lunch date with my partner. It was late lunch. Both of us were hungry and we went out late because my dear Lelet had to do some revision for her assessment.

I was craving for pasta and Lelet didn't bother what to eat. So when we passed by Garden, we did peek at the menu and checked for the price. The price was okay. So we decided to have our lunch there.

My dear Lelet
There was a birthday party being held. OH boi, you're very lucky that your parents celebrating your birthday at nice cafe. Hence, the service was quite slow. He had to wait for a long time to be seated, to order foods and also for the food to be served.

I had spaghetti aglio olio with shrimp and Lelet had smoked beef carbonara.

Our drinks : Watermelon juice and honey lemon

The foods were delicious! The portion is big and it is enough for a person even if you're as hungry as a pig. hehe

Delicious!
The environment in the cafe is very quiet and romantic. The light was dimmed, the played slow music and the the decoration is so english. They had white piano or bedazzled piano at the center of the cafe. It looks so beautiful there.

The piano I was talking about..
The entrance
If you're planning to bring your partner for tea, you can always choose here. It's a very nice place.

Someday I'll bring errr... someone there. HaHa..

Family Gathering: BBQ

It was a month ago but I owe Mr H for blog posts. So now I'm trying to have at least one post a week. LOL. Still layzeee!

Last month, we had bbq night with the family. It's nothing than to have a gathering with the family. It's not that we seldom have gathering... but we had few times gathering in a month. Seriously, there was a gathering at Auntie Awin's house 2 weeks before the bbq night and we always meet during the weekend. hehe.

The plan was to invite family, then later in the evening, mom's dealer came, so she joined us. Then mrs tooott, mr teettt, miss ttaatt came. But noone came with empty handed made the food was more than enough for everyone.

Actualy, lelet wasn't at home. She stayed in Cyber to prepare for exam. But when I texted her asking her if she comes back or not, she changed her mind and came back.

Banyak makan, banyak minum, banyak gossip
The shy guys and please notice the group behind. Haha..
The ladies
(Sorry I had to do that to Mom's hair)
Gossiping while waiting for everyone to finish eating and start playing UNO.
The menu for that night was chicken, fish, lamb, squid for bbq, fried rice, fruits, triffle, dadih, caramel, errr... i don't remember..

The best thing to have family gathering is to never forget each other (which we never forget anyone), to have fun, to catch up some stories that happened within the week and to tease each other.

Gang Kak Limah Jadi Zomba
(sorry, the background wasn't nice so I had to do that)
Some crazy pictures of us
Pity Faizal and Yus cause they can't join us that night. I'm sure that they saaadddd!

Later at night, we played uno, which we never missed at any gathering. We had a deal, the loser have to buy each player McD milkshake. It makes everyone nervous especially when we had no idea if we win or lose. The first to finish the card was Lelet and the last was the skool kid, Amirul. So we didn't claim the milkshake as we all sure he won't have enough money to buy for everyone.

UNO family
The game ended around 1am.

The night was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves eating gossiping and teasing each other.

Love you all couzzies!

Surfers Paradise

I've promised my fav buddy for blog posts since I'm such a lazy bum to complete writing the post. I swear I have few incomplete posts in my draft and I had no intention to complete that. *slap me!*

As everyone knew I went to Gold Coast for vacation with my family. But dad wasn't been able to follow us. He was busy and he was on probation and until now he still is. SO just have to say good bye to dada!

So we flew to GC and cramped our arses in the plane for 8 hours. The flight wasn't pleasant. Up down, shaking here and there. OK turbulence. And I can say it's quite bad coz mom slept all the way to GC.

We reached GC International airport in the morning and started our Day 1 in GC.
The transfer send us to the hotel and we were as free as bird. Then only we made plan where to go.

The view from our room on 33rd floor
My hotel situated at Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Next door is Centro Surfers Paradise and they have Woolworths and nice shops and Hard Rock Cafe. The beach is only 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

We were tired when we arrived there. So we decided to jalan2 along the street. The have shops like Cotton On, Valley Girl,MNG, Billabong and also the DFS Galleria. *close eyes* Remember jalan2!

The first visit was to a Haunted House. It's the biggest 5 floors haunted house. I think it's not very scary but it's very interesting.

Electric chair
After that, we visited the beach. OMG! I'm in love with... the hot guys oh NO, the beach! The beach is very beautiful. the waves, the sun, oh it made me fall in love.

I LOVE THE BEACH
Day 2 was awesome. We went to Warner Bros Movie World. The rides : Superman Escape, Lethal Weapon, Batman, Wild Wild West are uber cool! Do you know that superman escape accelerates from 0 - 100km/h in 2 seconds? Wowwie right. And if you said Batman is just the same as Solero Shot, you're wrong. It went up and down so fast.

We spent the whole day there.

We love to play on the beach
Day 3 was amusement park again. We went to Dream World. The park is bigger than Movie World but I think I enjoyed Movie World more than Dream World. But somehow, the ride, Tower of Terror II are awesome. The ride move reverse in very high speed up the tower and went down again. Mom said when the ride's take off, it sounds like the flight to take off.
