Do you know what Haddock is?

It's a fish.

No. I'm not going to talk about the fish cause I don't really know the fish. I've tasted it but I like salmon more.

Okay. I have a best friend which I named him Haddock.

Why Haddock? it's because I've been obsessing about salmon and he can't stop saying that haddock is tastier than salmon.

So we named ourselves Salmon and Haddock.

I've known haddock for quite long time already. Almost 8 years. But we've lost contact for 2 years because haddock been swimming too far away from the habitat and been drown until one day he came back to the right path. HAHAHAHA.

Since then, we've become good friend. A friend who always be there through my thick and thin. You can't see haddock swimming around me but he always there. He always there when I need big ears, when I need a shoulder to cry on, when I feel alone, when.. when.. when...

Haddock is a type of fish that I can pour all my secrets to with him judging if I'm the crab or the squid. Haddock is also my counselor (he said he can be one  :P) a part of my treatment when I'm too depressed.

He best thing about haddock is he always positive in everything. Even if I say something bad, he still be positive.

When I'm down, I always remember that God has sent to me a wonderful fish that I know I can't release it back to the sea. Without haddock, there will be no delicious seafood. LOL.

Dear haddock,
           Thank you for being a delicious fish for the dinner. I hope you'll like salmon for your dinner too. You don't have to worry about anything cause we have each other to eat ourselves. Maybe some salt and pepper will make us more tastier. It's been 8 years having you and I never feel full. I hope every bite of you won't leave me a fleshless bone. Thank you.

Aquaria KLCC

Last Thursday, I went to KLCC with some friends back in Bandung. Yeah the one who haven't starts working yet. Actually the plan was to visit Petrosains and it was Firdaus's. I hesitate to go because I'm afraid I'm gonna get bored in it. But somehow we did check the ticket price and we decided to go. So we queued in an empty line to get the ticket. The lady said the Petrosains is closing in 1 hour. We at least need 2 and half hour in it. And the ticket for Helicopter simulator was sold out. So we ditched Petrosains and we promised Firdaus for next time.

We decided to visit Aquaria. None of them haven't been there. I swear last time I went there it was interesting. Now they're NOT! The ticket price is RM35 which is not-so-cheap for a boring place. It's better to watch a movie than going there. Sighhh! Eh Langkawi's Underwater World is moooore awesome!

Do you know that they can stay like that for months? mating for months? And they can eat and sleep and breath and do whatever they can while they're mating. Cool for them. Not for human.

Happy new year everyone!

I can't believe that we have just entering 2011. I tot Jan 2010 was just yesterday. OK. ni tipu. But then time flies so fast. It's like God has speed the time.

I had nice memories from 2010 which I don't ever want to forget and also the bad ones, which definitely I couldn't forget for the rest of my life.

However, how good or bad it was, I never regret every second in my life. Things happen for reasons. They taught me how to be strong, to be loved, to love everything, to face the problems, to appreciate things. And I thank God that He gave me the chance to learn.

Btw, twenty eleven sounds like seven eleven.. heee... I miss home. I want slurpee! It's only 3 days to go home. FOR GOOD!

Since it was new year and the firework seems so familiar, the friends invited me to go out to PVJ for dinner and wait for the countdown.. and unfortunately, there was no countdown at all. Only the fireworks. And there were thousands of people.

I really enjoyed myself with good company and nice fireworks. BUT hell, I hate the blow-thing-sounded! or vuvuzela or whatever the name it is. I can't seem to remember the name. Its damn freaking noisy. Here and there, everyone's blowing. ppfftt!

During the day, I went to PVJ again with Betsy. Just wanted to have lunch and buy mom's supplement. And I ended up buying a dress from Promod. It was sale tho. 50%. Just cant resist. Actually, I wanted to buy a dress from Topshop but it's sold out I guess. It's not in the store. Heee. Eh Butter! I want a new dress please.

We had late lunch at Azzura Sip & Dine. I know, the Xmas dinner was there but I love the drinks. It's nice. So I had baked rice with cheese and Betsy had Hainanese chicken rice. We shared chips & chips. And we really had to force ourselves just finish those foods. Damn full wey. Btw, you should try Azzura. The foods are delicious.

The drinks was served in jar. I should give this idea to Mom, if someday we don't have enough glass to serve people.

Seriously my room looks like Titanic when it sinked. heh! I should stay home and stop spending all the money like no body's business..

Yeah and again, Happy new year peeps. It's a new year, a new beginning.

Christmas Dinner

It's December and Christmas is just 3 days away. Since this year Betsy might be celebrating Xmas here, in Bandung, she wanted to go out with few close friends and have dinner together before everyone fly back home.

We went to Paris Van Java (heee. like no other place to go right?) to have dinner. At least there are lots of restaurant we can choose. So Betsy chose Azzura. It's a nice cozy restaurant with nice drinks... oh and food too. And the restaurant is bluuueeeeeee. I mean everything was blue, even the lighting. Betsy said she likes the lighting because it makes her feel like in a club a lil bit.

Right after dinner, we had gift exchange. So everyone have to bring gift and we never knew who's gonna get our gift. We had to draw. I got the gift from Yasmin and it was a nice necklace. And Shema got my gift.

Since Sam was craving for Jco yogurt, we stopped there and hang out for a while before heading home.

Nanny's Pavillon

Friday night out with the girls.. Oh when half of them was at the campus waiting for their turn for phytochemistry lab exam. It sucks. Structure elucidation? What the hell is that? Haha. I salute people who really understand to read that damn spectrum. Especially the NMR spectrum.

Actually I went out in the evening to Ciwalk for late lunch/early dinner at Es Teler 77. It was quite late and I really had stomach ache after finish eating. I went out alone since everyone is busy and they have their own plan. Plus, I wanted to buy few things from the store. Some hair product. Last time I went to the salon, the lady complained that my hair is too dry. ay ay.. I bought new shampoo + hair recovery oil + hair mask. So hair, please wet yourself okay??

I didn't have plan to join the girls btw. I thought I just want to spend my time alone in my room, watching stupid movies or drama series for God knows how many time I repeat those movies. Haha. But when they say the might watch movie or karaoke after having dinner, I'm eheemmm had second thought. Other than watching old boring movies, its better to watch new ones. Other than staying alone at home, its better to join them for karaoke right. OH I really wanna be a singer someday. Haha.. Hell NO! I'm kiddin'

So I told them I wait for them somewhere. If I'm late, then I just meet them at Nanny's. But then, I'm early and they changed they place twice. It's either Riau or Setiabudhi. Setiabudhi is just few minutes away from Ciwalk. Riau errr quite far.. So they chose Setiabudhi.. sudah dekat. hehe. So I met them somewhere in Setiabudhi cause idk where the place is.

The concept of Nanny's Pavillon at Setiabudhi is Library. As if we're eating in the library, but still, the shop is cute as always. And they're opening a new one at Jakarta Selatan and they're using the Bathroom concept. From the picture, there is no toilet bowl. So no worries. hehe.

Everyone was hungry but me. Farha and Yasmin wanted to have pancake. Dayah, Liyana and I had pasta. Actually I don't know what to eat. I didn't feel like having waffle or pancake. So, I made a deal with Dayah. We ordered different pasta and later we exchange ours so we can have both. hehe.

What A Raya Celebration

I celebrated Eid Adha this year in Bandung. This is the third of five time celebrating here. I didn't cook anything and it was a big big mistake. Well, I didn't even wake up early. I just didn't feel it.

The morning, I woke up I was very hungry and I feel so sad, cause I miss home, I miss my family, I miss all the good foodies at home. Mom cooked soto, which is one of my favorite. How sad is that, you just can't have it. All I had for breakfast was family cracker and hot milo with some friends.

Since they're having makan2 at night, so I helped them to do some work. Chilies, onions, carrots bla bla bla. *kerja dapur* LOL! and in the afternoon, I have this one lovely friend, A, let me come to her house for lunch. She and her friends cooked nasi impit + chicken soup. It was delicious. Thank you very much :)

Back at home, the ladies just done with the cooking. So makan again. They cooked bihun sup, fried rice, mashed potato with the gravy, coleslaw, and some desserts. Did I miss anything here? hmm.. I don't remember.

The makan2 actually started at 4 and they had BBQ too. Chicken, fish, squid and shrimp. Makan whole day and I was very full.

We were when we still in nice dry clothes.

Sushi Boon

Since I have nothing interesting to share with you, so I've decided to write about foodies. HaHa. Seriously, life is DULL. Me no likey. But what to do. This is my stupid life. I have to live with it.

FYI, Bandung always been raining, like every single day. So its very humid here and cold. Some people go out wearing jacket and some I don't know crazy? not really lah, they wear thick jacket or bubble jacket. Oh I wish I can have that bubble jacket from Promod. LOL. You can't never expect when is the sunny day. Sometimes its very cloudy and dark outside, turned out not raining at all. But when it is sunny, you gonna be a fried shrimp!

Eh now I've been writing about weather. Ahaaa.. So there's one rainy evening, I usually sleep during raining cause.. uhhuhh you know why. I received a text message from a friend, A. She asked me whether I wanna go out for dinner or not and she was as hungry as a bear since she didn't had anything since morning. So, I said OK cause I need to eat something for dinner too. The choises was Penang House or Sushi Boon. So I decided Sushi Boon since I never tried the sushi there, plus I love sushi.

I met her there after she finished her class at 5. We ordered 4 sushi, Dragonballz, bla bla bla, bla bla bla and Tuna sandwich. Sorry for the bla bla bla cause I don't remember what was that. hehehe..

So this is the Dragonballz. It wrapped with grilled salmon and inside the roll, they have the egg and mayonnaise I think. It is nais but I think the salmon is not so fresh but It don't taste ugly either.

This roll contained crab stick, or chicken, egg, mayonnaise. But I like it.

After we finished eating, we went to BIP for window shopping. A wanted to have waffle, so we went to Texas Chicken. I just had chocolate sundae cause I was full. I had heavy lunch btw. That's why I didn't eat much :)

Steamboat / Shabu shabu / Yakiniku

Miss steamboat peeps? Hehe.. Don't give 'Bandung don't have any steamboat' as a reason for you to hate Bandung. Ok. Ignore!

There are 2 places I know that have steamboat.

One is in PVJ, which I had post before. Suki Zuki or Zuki Suki. The best thing at this place is they have raw food bar. It something like sushi bar, the one with sushi travel on belt. They also serve with 2 soups chicken soup or tomyum or you can have both. The price is quite *cough* expensive *cough* but if you have BNI credit card or debit card, you can get 50% discounts. Well, the promotion is until March. So you better get your ass there before the promotion is over.

The other place is in Hanamasa and it is buffet. The price now is Rp100k pax and the price is increasing each year. hehehe. So if you want to go here, you better bring an empty stomach cause you gonna fill it with lots of food that worth 100k. Last time I went there, they only have miso soup. So if you want something spicy, you better put some chili sauce in the soup. Hehe. They also have hot plate for you to cook your food or you can just ask them to cook for you.
