Family Gathering: BBQ

It was a month ago but I owe Mr H for blog posts. So now I'm trying to have at least one post a week. LOL. Still layzeee!

Last month, we had bbq night with the family. It's nothing than to have a gathering with the family. It's not that we seldom have gathering... but we had few times gathering in a month. Seriously, there was a gathering at Auntie Awin's house 2 weeks before the bbq night and we always meet during the weekend. hehe.

The plan was to invite family, then later in the evening, mom's dealer came, so she joined us. Then mrs tooott, mr teettt, miss ttaatt came. But noone came with empty handed made the food was more than enough for everyone.

Actualy, lelet wasn't at home. She stayed in Cyber to prepare for exam. But when I texted her asking her if she comes back or not, she changed her mind and came back.

The menu for that night was chicken, fish, lamb, squid for bbq, fried rice, fruits, triffle, dadih, caramel, errr... i don't remember..

The best thing to have family gathering is to never forget each other (which we never forget anyone), to have fun, to catch up some stories that happened within the week and to tease each other.

Later at night, we played uno, which we never missed at any gathering. We had a deal, the loser have to buy each player McD milkshake. It makes everyone nervous especially when we had no idea if we win or lose. The first to finish the card was Lelet and the last was the skool kid, Amirul. So we didn't claim the milkshake as we all sure he won't have enough money to buy for everyone.

Have you heard about the Merapi mount has been erupted?

How bad it is?

The ashes has come to Bandung. So, it is damn bad. Now no flights in and out of Indo. Well, from "I wanna go home". Now I can say "I can't go home". Usually if anything happened, we blame the airlines company or the government, oh now we can't blame anyone.

So now here we are, stuck in Indonesia. For how long? God knows.

Have you watch any news about Jogja. It is now covered with white ashes. Candi Borobudur is now in white! From far, they look like covered with snow. HoHoHo, Merry Christmas. Well, it is not.

The ashes is not the same as the ashes from garbage burned. It is very dangerous. It looks like Silica or glass with sharp edges. The size is very small which is less than 2mm. It can lead to breathing problems and malfunction of machinery.

Since mommy don't let me out too much, I've been staying home for two days. Eating and cooking. Fatso! However, it is better other than expose myself too much to the environment. heh..

Raya holiday..

Hello peeps! Happy eid mubarak!

I know I'm waaayyy too late to wish you all but I was too busy. I'm very sorry.

My raya holiday was very wonderful with family. I mean the BIG family. It's been years since the last time we celebrated raya together. House full of Aunties, Uncles and Crazy cousins. All I can say is I was happy and excited!

Raya is not all about celebrating after a month of fasting and asking forgiveness from others. Raya is about good foods, family and bonding we have with each other. Raya is the day when we can meet family, relatives which we haven't meet for ages.

I'm happy that when I met my cousins I never felt awkward. We can joke around, gossips and teasing each other. And we even had rounds of eating together. Such a big tummy everyone had. Maybe the fb is doing it's job and made us connected even how far we are.

I wish my grandparents were there. I wish they knew how happy we were when we're all together.

Berbuka Dinner With Lovely Family

Today is Mom's birthday. So.. We decided to go out for berbuka dinner, She chose Holiday villa since they offered 50% discount. Cheap right?

Unfortunately.. There were lots of people there. More than 2000 people as the waiter said. Sigh! The food was OK but not as nice as what we expected. They usually serve good foods for berbuka.

However, the dinner was lovely. I had my family with me after weeks of breakfasting alone. We really enjoyed ourselves. Good jokes, stories, teasing each other and laughters.

I'm home darling!

My flight was at 610 in the morning. But none of the friends is going back with me. I mean my classmate. Few of the ITB Students were there. I went to the Airport with Nad. Then I met some of the junior.

I was so bored in the plane. I'm sitting next to stranger. She was sleeping all the way from BDo to KUL. oh luckily she didn't break her neck. haha. Kesian.

Thanks to iPod to accompany me all the time. but I got so bored at the end. So I captured few pic of the cloud. which I think so beautiful. So here you go.. CLOUD NINE!

Weekend With The Family

Yes! I went home..

It was a long weekend yet too short to be at home. Please. Can we have 7 days of weekends? and 2 days for weekdays? Ok. That is ridiculous.

My 4 days being at home was wonderful. After being apart from the family for few months, and being lonely. I was surrounded with LOVE.

Actually I didn't do anything much at home. The best part was mom's cooking which all you can eat and it was all my favorite foods. hehe. Nice right? Mom just couldn't stop cooking from Friday to Sunday. and guess what? I have all the foods in my fridge and it all frozen. Nasi Lemak for tomorrow y'all? haha..

Oh btw, Lelet wasn't home. She had orientation week at the college. So only Ujang was there to layan me to go out at night to buy foods and to go out for ice cream. We went to Empire, the new shopping mall in Subang. Empire is quite bored. They have a lot of restaurants and cafes. You can find Madam Kwan's, Chilis, Tarbush and bla bla bla. So we decided to go to Sunway Pyramid foooorrrrr.... HAAGEN DAZS!

At night, I just followed my parents to a birthday party. We were the last to come but at least we came kan? hehe. On the way back, Papa decided to have some coffee or something light for supper. Then I suggested The Coffee Beans. But Papa parked his car in front of Dome. So here we go, Dome for the Supper.

Sunday was a tiring day. Mom had meeting at home. I had to help her since we don't even have maid at home. And Lelet decided to go home. I had a chance to meet her then. But she was super busy. She had lot of works to do. We went out to McD to do her works helped by Dong. hehe.

Monday was my last day at home. My flight was at 830 pm but delayed for 1 hour. Sigh! Before went to the airport, I had lunch with Mom and her friend. We went to Madam Kwan's and window shopping at Subang Parade. We all agreed that now Subang has everything and we don't really need to go to KL just to shop. oh ehem oh unless you want to go for designer's brand.

But I really love to be home and I hate to be here. Even though someday I'll miss here.
